Activities

As a member of The Delta Chi Fraternity, I participate in many events with a group of 68 other men. These events include:
- Delta Chi Movers- A philanthropy event in which we move people in and out of their houses/apartments at the beginning and end of the school year in return for donations to the Jimmy V Foundation for Cancer Research
- Greek Week/Homecoming- I coordinated my fraternity and a sorority to attend a week of campus organized events. I also organized events for us to participate in at night.
By being directly admitted to the Robert H. Smith School of Business, I had the opportunity to join the Freshmen Fellows program which allowed me to take more specialized business classes as a freshman and sophomore, as well as smaller sections for mandatory courses. These courses included:
- BMGT110F- Introduction to the Business Value Chain
- BMGT 198F- Practicum in Ethics & Corporate Social Responsibility
- BMGT367F- Career Search Strategies in Business

As a member of the Interfraternity Council Judicial Board, I oversaw the actions of the 24 fraternities and 14 sororities that are a part of Greek Life at The University of Maryland. This meant that I assessed incidents and assigned consequences when the actions required them.
